Russian speaking Minorities represent a significant share of the population in the Baltic States - about 25% in Estonia and Latvia, about 5% in Lithuania.
Since the start of the War in Ukraine, Baltic States implemented, among others, the following policies:
- Rapidly phasing out Russian Speaking/Instruction schools, even in majority Russian Speaking Areas
- Revoking Licenses of local Russian Broadcasting Channels
- Exclusion of previously voting-eligible Russian Minorities from local elections.
